Kueh Terang Bulan

Bahan-Bahan
(Ingredients in English)

1 teaspoon instant yeast
380 ml lukewarm thick coconut milk - kita guna fresh milk
250 g plain flour
150 g caster sugar
2 medium eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 can LADY GENERAL
condensed milk
5 tablespoons pounded roasted peanuts
5 tablespoons grated cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons roasted sesame seeds
3 tablespoons chocolate rice
butter or margarine for greasing


(Ingredients in Malay)
1 sudu kecil yis segera
380ml santan pekat suam
250g tepung gandum
150g gula kastor
2 biji telur, dipukul
1 sudu kecil esen vanila
Secubit garam
ΒΌ sudu kecil soda bikarbonat
1 tin susu pekat LADY GENERAL - guna jenama lain pun takpe
5 sudu besar kacang tanah yang dibakar dan ditumbuk kasar
5 sudu besar keju cheddar diparut
3 sudu besar bijan digoreng tanpa minyak
3 sudu besar chocolate rice
Mentega atau marjerin untuk sapukan pada periuk


1. Sprinkle yeast on the coconut milk and leave aside for 20 minutes or until it becomes frothy.

Taburkan yis pada santan dan biarkan selama 20 minit atau hingga ia berbuih.

2. Stir in the flour and sugar and then the beaten eggs, vanilla essence and salt. Combine well.

Masukkan tepung, gula, telur, esen vanilla dan garam. Gaul hingga sebati.

3. Finally stir in the bicarbonate of soda and keep aside to ferment for 15-20 minutes.

Masukkan soda bikarbonat dan ketepikan selama 15-20 minit.

4. Heat a non stick pan of about 14 cm diameter and grease it with butter or ghee.

Panaskan periuk selebar 14 sm dan sapukan mentega atau ghee.

5. Pour 2-3 ladleful of the batter and swirl the pan so that the batter coats the bottom of the pan and a little of the sides.

Tuangkan 2-3 senduk adunan dan adunan rata di permukaan periuk.

6. Let it cook until the surface is cooked and the sides crispy and brown.

Biarkan hingga permukaan masak dan tepinya garing dan kecoklatan.

7. Place the cooked pancake on a plate.

Letakkan lempeng di atas piring.

8. Spread condensed milk on the pancake.

Tuangkan sedikit susu pekat pada lempeng.

9. Sprinkle a bit of all the rest of the ingredients.

Taburkan kacang, keju, bijan dan chocolate rice.

10. Fold the pancake into two then cut it to serve.

Lipat dua dan dipotong sebelum menghidang.
